Burtons Medical Equipment has been manufacturing, distributing and servicing a complete range of veterinary equipment since the company was founded by Fred Burton in 1981

Now run by Fred’s son, David Burton, it has remained a company with family at its heart, keeping the core values of animal welfare & customer satisfaction a top priority, without being affected by year on year expansions.

Starting out as a small company in Maidstone, Burtons began as a broad supplier and servicing company to private NHS hospitals & veterinary practices. The constant connection to vets and customer requests made it clear that the veterinary market would soon become the main focus, and there began Burtons Manufacturing. Starting with autoclave spare parts & leading to production of stainless steel tables & anaesthesia machines that are still market leading products to this day.

Our extensive range of veterinary equipment and services now cover everything from anaesthesia to x-ray, with the help of more business acquisitions year on year.

Approximately 50% of our products are still manufactured at Burtons HQ in Marden. Which now boasts an extensive range of capabilities including; CAD design, CNC machining, laser cutting, fabrication, wood shop, paint shop, full assembly & testing.

Our sales and service teams, workshop technicians, office administration staff and managers are on hand to help you with any enquiries you may have and are dedicated to providing great quality service to all customers, no matter the requirements.

Although still focused on the veterinary sector, Burtons have diversified into allied areas such as vehicle conversions for canine transportation & animal ambulances to grooming equipment and aquatic systems.

It’s in 1982 that everything begins. Back to when Serge Lachapelle was a professional in a multinational specialized in anesthesia equipment, something clicked for him. Vodafone has launched Business Evolve – a new set of flexible mobile plans for small and medium-sized businesses (10 –150 employees), offering more choice in one complete plan than ever before.

Business Evolve is the latest plan launched by Vodafone to address the challenges faced specifically by SMEs in the UK today.
